Description
I’m confident that many of you are familiar with Anthroyd and his renowned YouTube tutorials on rom-hacking, particularly those focusing on Pokémon games. Despite their age, these tutorials remain some of the most widely viewed and thorough guides on binary hacking. Periodically, Anthroyd organizes a MAGM (Make A Good Map) competition, a much-anticipated event for aspiring hackers.
Participants are given the challenge of creating a standalone game within a one-month timeframe. My contribution to this competition is this mini-hack, where I’ve embraced the theme of “Exploration” to align with the overarching theme of “Isolation.” In this hack, players immerse themselves in the task of navigating through an unfamiliar island, striving to uncover its secrets and ultimately find a means of escape.
